The Secretary-General of the Organisation of Educational Cooperation, Manssour Bin Mussallam, will today, arrive Nigeria, a Founding Member State of the Organisation, on a three day official visit.
The visit will focus on identification, within the framework of the Strategic Plan, and the Common Programme of Member States, areas in which the organisation may support the Federal Ministry of Education as it embarks on implementing the National Language Policy.
A statement by the Undersecretary General for Public Relations and Engagement of the organisation, Julius Mucunguzi indicates that Bin Mussallam will hold meetings with the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu and a number of other senior Government officials.
It says the Secretary-General of the Organisation of Educational Cooperation will also visit the University of Abuja, a Special Needs Education school in Kuje, and the Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council.
