Residents of Wako Community in Kwali Area Council of the FCT have called for the provision of basic amenities to improve their standard of living.
They made the call in Wako Abuja during a free medical outreach organized by the office of the Minister of State for the FCT.
Some residents of Wako community while appreciating the gesture described it as a great opportunity for them to access medical care which ordinarily they could not afford.
On his part, the Etsu of Wako, Abdulaziz Ibrahim while appreciating the Minister for her kind gesture to his domain called for sustenance of the programme and other interventions that would benefit his people.
Leader of the medical team and Special Assistant to the FCT Minister of State on Satellite Towns Development,
Abubakar Sadiq explained that the outreach is part of an on-going intervention by the Office of the FCT Minister of State to meet the basic needs of the rural populace especially in the areas of health and education.
