Nasarawa : Remaining 4 Students Of LEA, Alwaza, Rescued

The remaining 4 school children of the Local Government Education Authority Alwaza village of Doma Local Government Area of Nasarawa State have been rescued.

Police Public Relations Officer Nasarawa State Command, Deputy Superintendent of Police Ramhan Nansel stated this in a telephone interview with Radio Nigeria in Lafia.

DSP Ramhan Nansel explained that the children who were kidnapped by unknown gunmen on the 20th of January 2023 on their way to school were rescued in a bush in Doka village of Keana Local Government Area of the state.

According to the Police Spokesperson, joint security efforts with the assistance of vigilantes and local hunters had continued to mount pressure on the kidnappers which led to the rescue of the children.

He pointed out that the rescued school children were in good physical health condition and would be reunited with their parents after medical examinations were carried out on them.
