New NYSC DG Promises Improved Security Of Corps Members

The New Director General of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, Brigadier General Yusha’u Dogara-Ahmed, says the major focus of his administration are improving the security of Corps Members, providing enabling environment for Research and Development and strengthening stakeholders’ engagements.

The DG stated this during the handover ceremony in Abuja.

He explained that other focus of his administration were capacity building enhancement and deepening the impact of the Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development program of the scheme.

The DG said, as a former military assistant to a former Director-General of the scheme, he had deep knowledge of the operations of NYSC and would make remarkable achievements.

He solicited the cooperation of Staff and stakeholders to enable the Scheme move to greater heights.

The out-gone Acting Director General of the Scheme, Mrs. Christy Uba gave an assurance that the Management Team and other Staff would give the Director General the necessary cooperation to succeed.
