The rehabilitation of Market – Radio House Road in Gwagwalada Area Councll of the FCT has again been abandoned as contractors handling the project are no longer on site.
Correspondent Mathew Ayoola reports that this is the second time the road project will be neglected in two years.
Some residents who expressed concern on the development said the situation is not healthy for the socio-economic development of the area.
They therefore called on Gwagwalada Area Council and the FCT Administration to look into the road project before the commencement of this year’s raining season.
The residents also appealed for the rehabilitation of other dilapidated township roads in the area to reduce difficulties usually encountered by motorists during the raining season in Gwagwalada.
