NOA Says Focus On Infrastructural Devt Will Attract Investors

the Airline Operatiors of Nigeria NOA, has called on the Federal Government to focus more on infrastructural development and Security to attract investors into the sector.

The vice president Airline Operators of Nigeria Mr Allen Onyema made the call at the ongoing Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria conference in Abuja.

Mr Onyema who outlined some of the challenges facing the smooth operation of the sector to include; poor funding, multiple taxation, high cost of aviation fuel amongst others called for urgent intervention by government in the sector.

Earlier, the Minister of Aviation Sanetor Hadi Sirika, represented by the Director General, Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, Captain Nuhu Musa explained that the Aviation road map which included national carrier, Airport concession, leasing company are geared towards boosting the operation of the sector.

He stressed the need for more foreign and local investor’s to take advantage of numerous opportunities and potentials inherent in the aviation industry for huge returns on investment.

The conference which attracted experts from Aviation Industry was tagged, “Advancing the frontiers of possibilities for Safe, Secure and profitable air transport”
