Malami Shelves His Gubernatorial Ambition

The Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami says, he has not resigned as he withdraws his ambition to contest for the 2023 Kebbi State Gubernatorial Election.

A systement by his special assistant on public relations, Dr Umar Gwandu says Malami has the right to choose to voluntarily shelve his gubernatorial ambition, which is a matter of personal conviction and opinion.

The statement notes that the decision is not only a demonstration of altruism and patriotism, but of contentment, self-control, placidity and decisiveness in problem-solving at a time shrouded with confusing and competing stimulus.
