Kola Abiola Picks PRP Presidential Ticket

Mr. Kola Abiola, Son of the late acclaimed winner of the June 12 1993 presidential election, Alhaji Mashood Abiola has picked his presidential nomination form to contest the 2023 presidential election on the platform of the Peoples Redemption party, PRP.

Mr. Abiola at the occassion in Abuja advised Nigerians to vote only aspirants who have the interest of the country at heart.

Mr. Abiola emphasized that Nigerians needed to vote credible and visionary leaders who would deliver on their campaign promises and redeem the country from electoral corruption.

“Let’s go and have a competitive environment, it will be transparent and we will uphold internal democracy and to be able to hold proper democracy.” Kola Abiola said.

The National Secretary of the party Mr. Babatunde Ali stressed the need for citizens to join hands with relevant stakeholders in the fight against insecurity and corrupt practices in the country.

According to “Alli the party had strategies to ensure a rancour free primary elections by allowing delegates to vote for the presidential candidates of their choice at the state levels.

Some governorship aspirants in the party also picked their nomination forms.

One of the gubernatorial aspirants, Mrs Roseline Chenge said if given the governorship ticket, she would tackle insecurity headlong and also ensure 35 per cent affirmative action for women.
