The Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC is to strengthen its collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force NPF in safeguarding lives and property of Nigerians on the Highway.
The collaboration would also enhance the safety of FRSC personnel during patrol Operations, enforcement and intelligence gathering.
The FRSC Zonal Commanding Officer incharge of FCT and Niger Atate, Assistant Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed stated this when he paid a visit to the Assistant Inspector General of Police incharge of Zone 7, Mr Bala Ciroma.
The Assistant Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed emphasized the need for the two sister agencies to work together for efficient service delivery.
While appreciating the efforts of the Police in curbing insecurity, the Assistant Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed said FRSC would continue to strengthen the existing cordial working relations as the two agencies have same areas of coverage.
In his remarks, The AIG, Bala Chiroma commended the efforts of FRSC on prompt rescue of road accident victims and effective traffic management.
AIG Bala Chiroma pledged continuous team work with FRSC for enhanced socio economic development of the Zone.
