The Permanent Secretary of the Federal Capital Territory Administration(FCTA), Mr. Olusade Adesola has called on the management and staff of the Abuja Environmental Protection Board(AEPB) to improve sanitation and environmental conditions of the nation’s capital city.
Mr Adesola made the call during an emergency meeting with the management staff of the Board in Central Business District, Abuja.
Mr Adesola who urged staff of the Abuja Environmental Protection Board to change their approach in handling city sanitation, said a change of strategy would further improve the services and help sustain the city’s ambience.
On debts owed to the Board, the FCTA Permanent Secretary told the AEPB staff to step up their games, adding that the FCT Administration was ready to support the Board to achieve its goals and objectives and would not tolerate any act of incompetence.
He used the medium to call on all Government Agencies, Estates, Private Organizations and individuals enjoying AEPB services to pay their bills to enable the Board function optimally.
Responding, the outgoing Director of Abuja Environmental Protection Board, Mr. Kaka Ali pledged the readiness of staff to improve on their services.
