Nasarawa: Yakanajie Of Uke Advocates Support For Vulnerables

The Yakanajie of Uke Kingdom Nasarawa State Alhaji Ahmed Hassan, has urged well meaning Nigerians to Support the present Administration in halting a devastating hunger crisis and extend kind gesture to the less privileged in the society.

Alhaji Hassan, made the call when he conferred a traditional title MADUBIN Mirror of Uke Kingdom to a Christian leader and founder of Young Mom Support Initiatives, Dr Vivian Sonny-Nsirim, in recognition of her contributions to the development and empowerment of women as well as youths in the community.

“The decision was informed due to your numerous engagements and contributions towards development of Keffi and Nasarawa State in general”.

“On the strength of that, the emirate congratulates you and hope that you will continue to uphold these humanitarian gesture, dedications and hard work,’’ the monarch said.

On her part, founder of Young Mom Support Initiative Dr Vivian Sonny-Nsirim, while expressing her gratitude to the emirate, stressed that no one should be left behind irrespective of the challenges facing the country, there is unity in diversity.

According to her, “Everyone must be carried along, show love to others, stop the fighting, violence, kidnapping and other crimes, embrace unity, no matter the tribe, race, religion or ethnicity, there is need to promote human capacity development at all levels for a verile nation”.
