President of the Appeal Committee of Caf Abdulakeem Mustapha (SAN) says lack of quality players on the bench contributed to the unexpected ouster of the Super Eagles at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
Despite winning all their three group stage matches, Nigeria crashed out of the Africa Cup of Nations in the round of 16 after losing 1-0 against Tunisia.
Speaking in an interview with KFM Sports in Abuja, Mr. Mustapha believes that the team could have done better in Cameroon if there were good game changers on the bench of the team.

The NFF Legal Adviser, who is urging corporate Nigerians to support the development of football in the country, added that best legs must be paraded for Nigeria to do well in the forthcoming qualifying against Ghana.
