The Former Governor of Zamfara State, Alhaji Abdulaziz Yari has been discribed as a tested administrator and a committed leader who is determined in ensuring that principles of the All Progressives Congress are maintained for progress of the party and the country.
This is contained in a statement in Abuja by the chief of staff to Alhaji Yari, Mr Abdulkarim Tsare .
According to the statement, Alhaji Yari has contributed his best to the development of the party since its formation and deserves to be trusted in handling any position.
The statement calls on party members to disregard criticisms against the former Zamfara State Governor who wants to contest the chairmanship position of the party.
The statement further urges the national caretaker committee of the APC, led by the Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni not to allow people with selfish interest to take over from him for posterity and progress of the party.
It also describes APC as a disciplined party which deserves leaders with integrity capable of handling public positions to propel the party to greater heights.
The statement however, calls on all well meaning supporters of the party to always preach peace and unity especially as the party prepares for the national convention.
