Insecurity: NASS Committed To Providing More Resources To Armed Forces – Sen. Lawan

The President  of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan says the Ninth Senate is committed to providing more resources to the Armed Forces to tackle the unending security challenges in the country.

Senator Lawan stated this while briefing Senate Correspondents  in Abuja ,at an occasion to mark his 63 birthday.

He described reports of incessant killings across the country as  worrisome and  explained that the situation does not portend any good for the country .

He  emphasized that though the armed forces and security agencies are  putting in their best to curtailing the killing spree ,  more efforts and results are expected from them .

 Senator Lawan stressed that the National Assembly has appropriated over a trillion naira in the 2022 budget to security agencies for optimal performance.
