Anglican Primate Tasks Federal Government On Security

The Primate Church of Nigeria Anglican communion Most Reverend Henry Ndukuba has called on the Federal Government to evolve new strategies to address the current state of insecurity threatening national peace.

Speaking during his Christmas sermon at the Cathedral Church of Advent Life Camp Gwarimpa Abuja, Archbishop Ndukuba said many Nigerians could not travel to their home towns due to the fear of insecurity, kidnappings and killings going on across the country unabated.

He also urged government at all levels to address the state of economic, high cost of goods and services which had brought untold hardship to Nigerians.

According to him, the level of corruption, poverty and ineptitude to the concern of citizens posed a great threat to the unity of the country.

The Anglican Primate however appealed to Nigerians to remain patriotic, pray for overnment and hold on to God who will manifest his power and give absolute peace to every home.

Most Reverend Ndukuba expressed optimism that the country would come out stronger and uproot every evil plantation in the country.
