New FCT Edu Secretary Resumes Duty, Pledges To Maintain Standards

The newly appointed FCT Secretary for Education, Sani Dahir El-katuzu has pledged to ensure that educational standards are upheld under his tenure.

Mr El-katuzu who stated this when he held the first meeting with top education management staff in Abuja, reiterated his willingness to promoting an all inclusive education in the territory.

Describing education as the bedrock of development, Mr El-katuzu stressed the need to prioritise quality and affordable education for all Nigerian child by way of investing more on it.

He noted that children must be trained not only to be sound in academics, but also trained to be outstanding morally, socially and otherwise.

The Secretary called for the support and cooperation of all staff.

Earlier, the Director of Administration and Finance, Malam Leramoh Abdulrazaq while welcoming the Secretary, pledged the commitment of all staff to work as a team towards attaining the universal education goals in the territory.
