The English Premiership League match between Burnley and Tottenham Hotspur has been indefinitely postponed minutes before kick-off.
The match was scheduled to hold at the Turf Moor on Sunday afternoon but inclement weather in Lancashire made the postponement ineluctable.
As heavy snow continued to fall, officials took to the pitch an hour before kick-off to check how the players would cope.
The game was eventually called off because the weather conditions were considered unplayable.
The team news had already been released ahead of a vital match for both clubs. Spurs might have trimmed the gap on fourth-placed West Ham to a point if results went their way today, while Burnley are currently 18th and three points away from safety.
