Anglican Communion Calls For Prosecution Of Sponsors Of Terrorism

The Federal Government has been urged to expose and prosecute the sponsors of terrorism, banditry and other criminal activities across the country.

The Primate Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion, The Most Reverend Henry Ndukuba gave the advice during an annual Abuja DiocesanThanksgiving at the Cathedral Church of Advent Life Camp Abuja.

While decring the activities of the terrorists in the destruction of lives and critical infrastructure the Anglican Primate stressed the need for the Federal Government to work closely with the international community and other stakeholders to bring an end to their evil activities.

Archbishop Ndukuba however admonished Nigerians to always look up to God for intervention in the challenges in the country.

In a sermon, the Anglican Bishop of Kaduna, Reverend Timothy Yahaya called on the Federal Government to declare a state of Emergency on security and strengthen the capacity of various security agencies.

Right Reverend Yahaya stressed that the church would continue to support efforts at promoting national unity
