Group Seeks More Support For NSCDC

A group of Civil Society activists have called for more support for the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC to enhance its performance towards the success of the safe school initiative and protection of other critical national assets

Speaking on behalf of the group in Abuja, the Director of the National Council for Civil Society Organizations, Comrade Emmanuel Johnny explained that the activities of the NSCDC to ensure safety of schools were commendable

Comrade Johnny noted that with more support from all stakeholders, the organization would sustain its achievements in capacity building and protection of critical infrastructure across the country

The group urged detractors of the leadership of the NSCDC and other performing organizations of the present administration to desist and support efforts of the president Muhammadu Buhari led government to reposition all sectors of the country.
