RTEAN Backs FG On Total Deregulation Of Petroleum Sector

The Road Transport Employer’s’ Association of Nigeria, RTEAN has called on all transport operators to support the Federal Government’s policy on total deregulation of the petroleum sector.
The New FCT Chairman of RTEAN, Alhaji Musa Saidu – Zuba made the call while addressing the new Executives of RTEAN in Abuja.
Alhaji Saidu – Zuba said the call by some union leaders for a protest against recent increase in the price of petrol would further increase hardship on Nigerians.
He however stressed the need for the Government to always ensure the availability of the product.
The New FCT Chairman of RTEAN also appealed to the Federal Ministry of Transportation to ensure that all stakeholders in the transport sector benefit from the proposed palliative to cushion the effects of COVID 19 on operators in the sector.
Alhaji Saidu – Zuba also called on the FCT Administration to ensure total implementation of the FCT Transport Policy to further enhance the growth of the sector.
